It’s important to know that the colour of furniture will change depending upon how it’s used and it’s exposed to light.

• Try to avoid exposing furniture to direct sunlight or heat sources for extended periods which may lead to discolouration/fading.
  
  
• Don’t expose furniture to any liquids for a long period of time. Wipe it gently with soft and dry cloth.
  
  
• Avoid any contact with alcohol-based substances, solvents, abrasive materials, sharp or cutting objects to preserve its finish.
  
  
• Never place wet or hot items directly onto the product because the surfaces of furniture are sensitive to heat. Hence, we recommend using trivets or table mats.
• Keep the essential tools i.e. Allen key or screw driver so you can tighten the structure regularly to give your furniture permanent stability.
  
  
• Frequently dust surfaces with a clean, damp, lint free cloth.
  
  
• When moving items around on your furniture, don’t drag or slide them, lift them to avoid scratches.
  
  
• If furniture contains fabric or threading part, the colour may get alter over the period of time, this is a natural reaction of fabrics or threads exposed to surrounding. Contact professional cleaning team so that it can be treated properly and safely.
  
  
• Upon receipt of your furniture, be sure to air it, with the doors and drawers open, in a well-ventilated room.

Delivery:

• Our support and delivery teams will be in touch with you for a hassle-free delivery.
• Free delivery is only applicable for the first attempt to deliver at your shipping address. If a customer misses this delivery, an extra visiting charge will be applicable for the second attempt.
• In absence of a service lift, our delivery partner shall only make a delivery to the ground floor of your apartment. Extra charges applicable per floor on delivery to the customer’s floor (on request) in such cases.
• Extra charges applicable for weekend or time-specific delivery.
• Your product(s) will be held for 10 days at the nearest delivery hub if you’ve failed to receive the delivery. After this, From Shekhawati reserves the right to either change or cancel the order.

Installation:

This product comes with 36 months warranty period, which covers manufacturing/workmanship defects issues that occur during the warranty period. The warranty applies to furniture used under normal household conditions.

This limited warranty does not apply to the following:

• Normal wear and tear of the product over prolonged use
  
  
• Small cuts, scratches or damages due to wrong cleaning methods or impacts/accidents
  
  
• Damage caused due to incorrect installation/assembly by the customer
  
  
• Products that have been stored, assembled, or installed incorrectly, used inappropriately or cleaned using the wrong cleaning methods or cleaning products. (eg, upholstery furniture will lighten over time if it's exposed to direct sunlight)
  
  
• Cracks developed due to the displacement of the product
  
  
• Decaying of wood due to consistent exposure to water
  
  
• In response to seasonal climate variations, solid wood will contract and expand throughout the life of the product, and it does not cover under the warranty section (for solid wood furniture).
  
  
• Joint lines, wood grains, or other issues related to the natural characteristics of wood are not defects and are not covered under warranty. In addition, any claim for seasonal splits or joints opening is limited to the warranty period from the time of purchase (for solid wood furniture).
  
  
• Upholstery fabrics such as seat covers have no warranty. For upholstery products, the warranty applies to the frame, and mechanisms, if any.
  
  
• Non-standard dry-cleaning procedures or the use of harsh chemicals.
  
  
• As per industry standards, unevenness of up to 5 mm is accepted widely due to differences in floor and surface levels. This is not covered in the warranty.

  Sheesham wood is preferred over other wood due to its strength and durability, other woods could be used as a option. Depending on the end use of product; mango, pine, oak etc woods are used in manufacturing.
