• Try to avoid exposing furniture to direct sunlight or heat sources for extended periods which may lead to discolouration/fading.
  
  
• Don’t expose furniture to any liquids for a long period of time. Wipe it gently with soft and dry cloth.
  
  
• Avoid contact with chemicals and alcohol, as these can damage the natural finish and durability of the furniture.
  
  
• Always use mats and coasters when placing hot or cold items on wooden surfaces.
• Keep the essential tools i.e. Allen key or screw driver so you can tighten the structure regularly to give your furniture permanent stability.
  
  
• Frequently dust surfaces with a clean, damp, lint free cloth.
  
  
• When moving items around on your furniture, don’t drag or slide them, lift them to avoid scratches.
  
  
• If furniture includes fabric or threaded components, the color may change over time due to the natural reaction of these materials to their environment. It is advisable to consult a professional cleaning service to ensure proper and safe treatment.
  
  
• Upon receiving your furniture, ensure that it is aired out in a well-ventilated room with the doors and drawers left open.

Delivery:

• Our support and delivery teams will be in touch with you for a hassle-free delivery.
• Free delivery is only applicable for the first attempt to deliver at your shipping address. If a customer misses this delivery, an extra visiting charge will be applicable for the second attempt.
• In absence of a service lift, our delivery partner shall only make a delivery to the ground floor of your apartment. Extra charges applicable per floor on delivery to the customer’s floor (on request) in such cases.
• Extra charges applicable for weekend or time-specific delivery.
• Your product(s) will be held for 10 days at the nearest delivery hub if you’ve failed to receive the delivery. After this, From Shekhawati reserves the right to either change or cancel the order.

Installation:

This product is accompanied by a warranty period of 12 months, which addresses defects in manufacturing or workmanship that may arise during this timeframe. The warranty is applicable to furniture utilized under standard household conditions.

However, this limited warranty excludes the following:

• Normal wear and tear resulting from extended use.
  
  
• Minor cuts, scratches, or damages caused by improper cleaning methods or accidents.
  
  
• Damage resulting from incorrect installation or assembly by the customer.
  
  
• Products that have been improperly stored, assembled, or installed, or that have been misused or cleaned with inappropriate methods or products (for instance, upholstery may fade over time when exposed to direct sunlight).
  
  
• Cracks resulting from the displacement of the product.
  
  
• Deterioration of wood due to continuous exposure to moisture; and the natural contraction and expansion of solid wood in response to seasonal climate changes, which is not covered under the warranty for solid wood furniture.
  
  
• Claims related to seasonal splits or the opening of joints are limited to the warranty period from the date of purchase for solid wood furniture.
  
  
• Upholstery fabrics, such as seat covers, do not carry a warranty; the warranty for upholstery products is limited to the frame and mechanisms, if applicable.
  
  
• Non-standard dry-cleaning methods or the use of harsh chemicals are also excluded.
  
  
• According to industry standards, an unevenness of up to 5 mm is generally accepted due to variations in floor and surface levels, and this is not covered by the warranty.

• Are these marble bowls safe for serving food??
  Yes. Our marble bowls are crafted from high-quality natural stone and are perfectly safe for serving dry foods, fruits, and snacks. However, because marble is a porous material, we recommend avoiding prolonged contact with highly acidic foods (like lemons, vinegar, or tomato sauce), as these can "etch" or dull the polished surface over time.
  
  
• How should I clean and maintain my marble bowl?
  To keep your marble bowl in top condition, hand wash it with warm water and mild soap, then dry it immediately with a soft cloth. Avoid using abrasive scrubbers or harsh chemicals that could scratch the stone, and consider applying a food-safe sealer once a year for extra protection.
  
  
• Why does my bowl look different from the product photo?
  That is the beauty of natural stone. Every marble block has its own unique "fingerprint" of veining, color variations, and mineral patterns. While the shape and size will match the product description, no two bowls are identical. This ensures that the piece you receive is a one-of-a-kind work of art.
  
  
• Can I put my marble bowl in the microwave or dishwasher?
  No. Sudden temperature shifts can cause natural stone to crack or shatter (thermal shock), and dishwasher detergents are far too acidic for marble’s delicate surface. To ensure your bowl lasts a lifetime, please stick to room-temperature or chilled serving and hand-wash only.
  
  
• Does marble stain easily?
  Because marble is naturally porous, it can absorb dark liquids like red wine, beets, or oils if left to sit. We recommend wiping up spills immediately. If a stain does occur, a paste of baking soda and water (a "poultice") left over the spot overnight can often draw the pigment out of the stone.
  
  
• How long does it take for delivery?
  We deliver all furniture orders within 3 to 4 weeks after you confirm your order (the payment date).
  
  
• Do I need to sign for my delivery?
  You'll need to sign a delivery form or an Airway Bill (AWB)/Proof of Delivery (POD) to confirm that the products you ordered arrived in good shape and without any issues.

Since all our products are completely HandMade & Hand Polished by Traditional Tools, they might vary a little in shape & size. That, in turn, makes every product unique & distinct.
